Marvel's Spider-Man: Open World - Greenwich Village

Greenwich was one of the biggest and dense districts we had to develop. My art direction for the team was focused on selling the "romanticism" of living in New York. We wanted it to feel warm, filled with foliage and cozy vibes. This meant a lot of different varieties and purposes for each area. For my individual contribution, I worked on a neighborhood that was a mix of the cozy residential feeling of a brownstone neighborhood we wanted and larger community, third spaces.

This area also included one of the first mission and combat spaces we made as a team, a rooftop warehouse. This was used as the beautiful corner benchmark for density and quality across the whole game.
